Whilst I was having my morning sh!t (reading evo) I noticed that the new CTR is only 2.05 seconds quicker round the track than a 1.6 Focus!:eek:

If your looking for a new small hot hatch the best of the bunch is probably the R27 but also consider the Cooper S (extremely well built). If you fancy something bigger Focus ST is brill! new CTR is gutless bile (style over substance), get the jap import!

I think the 197 is cool especially the R27! but if i was going getting rid of my 182 (which i'm not) it would be for a mkV golf gti or a meggy 230! Like everyone else says wait for 2 years then they might produce a Trophy! ;)

I don't think there is that much difference mate, mainly cosmetic. Buy a 172, no point getting into debt imho. Though I would add, I love my 182!! ;)

On my drive. When i bought my 182 the colour was a consideration, i went with titanium cos i thought it would draw less attention than my favourite colour which was racing blue!
