New set of front wipers fitted along with a wash and polish, bloody hate black cars in the summer!
Lost the front L plate earlier on a 60 road with the daughter driving.
3 weeks since turning 17 shes doing really well, out of the trading estate and onto the main roads within a week.

When i was a tech my record from driving it onto the ramp and driving it back out was 37 minutes some 10/15 years ago.
Pretty chuffed with an hour! Still got it!
Changed all the belts today, all completed within the hour.
The old belts and pulleys were mint for 10 years old, no cracking, could’ve done another 5 years no problem i reckon.
Thought i had better get the cam-belt changed as i last replaced it in 2015 so its 5 years over due.
Managed to get all the below for £70 delivered compared to genuine which was almost £200 with staff discount.
Cambelt kit
Air con belt kit
Alternator belt
Will get it all changed on Monday or...
Thought i had better get the crusty original lower arms sorted out.
Some eBay specials arrived today, £31 delivered for the pair 😮💨 will get them fitted on the weekend.

Spent ages pissing about trying to find the fault, replaced the rail pressure sensor, rail pressure regulator, hpfp fuel flow valve...
Couple bits done recently, swapped the grills out for some gloss black ones, for £15 they actually fit amazingly well.
Not sure to keep them on or go back to the originals, thoughts?
A few more bits sorted.
Apec discs and pads £45
Delphi drop links, £6 for the pair
Boot struts, £10 for the pair.
Parts are bloody cheap for the old girl!
I did notice the lower arms are looking a bit crusty so i better get those done in the new year.
I shall hopefully get it in for MOT this...
Another job sorted today, noticed the washer pump wasn’t working. Instead of buying another one which are about £70 genuine i thought i would strip it down.
Motor seized up, looks like the seal failed and let water in.
Went through my tool box and found a couple of Megane washer pumps with a...
Few more bits done today.
Clay bar then a blast over with the DA polisher, nothing intense, just wanted to remove a few marks and brighten it up.
Boot cleaned out inc spare wheel etc.
New gear knob insert.
Another little job done, wanted to clear out the centre drain under the scuttle panel so got that sorted.
Whilst i was there i noticed the wiper linkage was all floppy, circlip holding it together had almost disintegrated so i replaced it with a new one and greased everything up.
Before...
Thats my mates old one 👌
Pretty sure it was Amax springs we fitted along with front and rear cup shocks and new top mounts (kit) was all genuine parts.
