no i just rinsed it with the hose then degreased then rinsed again. Iv never had a problem with any of my other cars doing it.

Set off for work today and noticed the cup running a bit rough and it was steadily getting worse like it was running on 3 cylinders. Finally got it home tonight and got me mate to have a look at it and 2 of the plugs were burnt out. Now i washed and degreased the engine last night and wondering...

Netherton mate, dont think its got an aftermarket system on but it does sound pretty loud for a standard car. Coilovers are first on my list though

Its going into safe mode mate. Mine does it every now an then. There could be a number of things like a dodgy earth or sensor

LoL quality thread! I think you will be fine having the windows tinted mate. They will just charge you the extra premium it would have cost in the first place if they even notice at all. Hope it turns out ok for you we were all young and stupid once!

How easy is it to change the dogbone?

Any recommendations on what make to get and where to get them from? is the dogbone part of the engine mount set? cheers

When im giving the cup some and changing gear i get a knocking noise like something is shifting underneath. This is only when im driving aggressively and isnt too bad but just wandering if it is common or not? Cheers

I always washed mine with washing powder and sealed wit collonite. U should also clay them every now and then

Looks like im going to get rid of my cup iv had for only just over a month. I cant get used to it drives and im missing the civic too much. Also had to pay for a new cambelt kit to be fitted cos the cam pully was really noisey so thats put me off even though its fixed now. Does anyone know...

Im undecided what to get for my 172cup. I dont want a harsh ride as i will be tracking it very rarely and using it as a daily commute. Looking to spend no more than £450 but previously owning a honda i know nothing about the best for the clio. Cheers

Your going to really struggle mate. There are so many things going again you like non uk resident which is a big one, no uk licence, group 16 car and no ncd Your best bet is to get a lower grouped car which you gonna hate lol

It may look good from the pics but its whats underneath that i would be worried about. I would steer clear there is lots to chose from in todays climate anyway
