Love the Aston. Have you thought about a classic car? I ran a series 3 landrover for abit and insurance was a few hundred quid... It did require abit of tlc but it was easy to work on... only issue is it probably uses more fuel than the Aston. As a young lady with an Aston can't you mindfuck one...

Great fun these, they do about 70mph in 2nd and sound like half a 911! Not a lot of grip though.

100hp is a great car, I really miss mine, the handling was nothing short of brilliant. Better than a 172 and i ve had two of them!

Check the boot floor, if thats knackered it could easily be a write off. Stupid place to park granted but it sounds like you may have been going abit fast and/or tailgating your mate, we've all done it, one of those things that you regret afterwards.

Mines running R888's its fine aslong as you treat it with respect, was abit lively in these conditions (I only drifted it round the block!).

Mines got a lightweight VW Polo radiator, I had the nose cone off when I first got it and checked it all over no signs of any leaking and nothing on the garage floor! To be fair the last owner spent a fair amount of time and money on the engine so its pretty much uptogether.

Its no cheaper. The great thing about the 1*2 is they are great fun to drive yet still cheap to run, its not as if they do sub 20mpg to the gallon. This is coming from a man that has a fully expensed company car yet still runs two private vehicles of his own!

When I had my ph1 I used it as my daily and for fun random drives. I have a company car now and a westfield as a weekend toy, problem is with no screen etc it can only be used in ideal conditions, if I had a 1*2 as a weekend toy I would probably drive it in the evenings etc.

Looks tidy that mate, worth spending the time keeping on top of the paint work will help with the resale value no end. I really rate the Collinite, on my 2nd tin now!

I ve got the Westfield insured with them, they didn't even charge me today to change the plate which is a refreshing change. I have used bell for the last couple of years on the daily, never had any complaints with them either and they are spot on about adding temporary cars on as well...

You need to be quicker mate its sold, you probably only wanted it to sniff the seat! I think on a K plate its one of the last of the 190's, its quite tidy actually I was surprised for the money even more so when I saw the history!
