Is there anyone in the Sussex area with a Renault clip to turn off my air bags? Been trying work out what gone on with the wiring previously but not having much luck.
Bucket seat fitting this weekend. A couple of weeks ago it was a hot afternoon so decided to leave work early and drive to the Corbeau factory. Wanted to place an order on some pro sports but thought I should probably sit in them first before buying. Just as well I did, didn’t like the fit of...
Little update. Friday after work I manage to get the drivers seat and passenger seats stripped out of the car. I wasn’t the first person to be under there as something terrible has happened to the wiring. Ends had badly crimped and as I rocked the seat back everything pulled out of the...
So I’ve spent the last hour adjusting the PMs shift to try and get it to engage 5th a little better. Currently can grind a little. After moving it now more than a millimeter at a time I’ve gone from loosing reverse, to loosing 5th, to no gears at all, and finally back to where I started. I’m...
was just looking at fitting a Spa gauge to to my car and while looking online at them found this,

Has anyone fitted one of these? Just means up can have it all on one screen rather than a load of gauges.
Evening all. Want to sent some hubs off for machining to get a roll centre correction kit fitted. Friend has some phase 1 front hubs, will these fit my 172 cup so I can send his hubs off for machining then swap them onto my car?
Cheers all
This trip is what kicked off the purchase of the Clio for me 12 months ago, the want to have a fun car again. Cars come along way in less than a year. It was the first test for the Clio since the turbo kit was fitted, the drive to spa, a day and a half of driving, and the drive home again.
When...
I’m going through the same thing. Although I don’t daily mine I don’t want it to be a pain getting in or out. Have looked at the Corbeau pro sports. The people who I’ve seen have them say they not the most comfortable for long distance as the padding is thin. Spoke to Corbeau and they said the...
Got my first track day coming up since the engine has been boosted. Currently running a good grade of 5w40 and has an oil cooler fitted. Would this be alright or be beefed off running a 50?
Cheers all
Little update from me. Car went back to my mate today for a quick nut and bolt check and to notch the subframe before spa. Ever since the turbo kit was fitted the exhaust has rattled on the subframe and drove me mad. Thankfully he worked his magic and the rattle is gone, just get the vibrations...
Saturdays are normally reserved for me looking after the three year old and 4 month old so my wife can get some horse related stuff done. But I’m running out of time before we go to spa so both boys had to “help” me get bits done on the car.
First thing for this morning was fitting a turbo...
I’ve got the same wheel, used the buttons below for the horn, plugged in and worked perfectly.

Have just been under the car in the rain trying to sort this. Tried to nip
It up but it’s tight, weeps a little still. I’ve come to the same conclusion as you, going to remove the copper washer and replace with a dowty washer. By chance do you know if it’s the same size as the sump plug washers...
Looks like the leak is coming from the banjo bolt where the line fits to the pump. Going to clean it off and give it 1/4 turn and see if that cures it.
Made the early morning trip 80 miles to engine dynamics to get the car mapped.
A friend follow me up in his cup to keep me company, that an I think he just wanted to go for a drive. It’s a pretty dull drive from mid Sussex. A22, M25, then the A12 and we’re there. Got there for 8.15 little bit...
All sorted. Came back with code DF110 (I think), which is a destructive misfire. Turned out to be water had got into the plugs, need to find a way to get the magnecor leads to seal better.
it’s got the base map put on the ecu. I know it going to run badly with the base map on it more why it’s thrown the engine management light. Spoke to ED and he said the EML will be a separate issue so needs sorting before it goes for mapping.
Evening all. Picked my newly converted cup up on Friday after my mate finished fitting ED kit along with a decaf and a few other bits. Have got the mapping booked for two weeks time. As advices in sticking some miles on the car to check for any leaks etc….. While driving it on Saturday there was...
Has anyone used or has one of these generic diagnostic code readers that are any good? Would be easier to do bits at home rather than having to take to my mate and get him to do it.
