hi, Im sort of new (joined aages ago but not posted much)
Im eventually wanting a V6 Clio but for now I got a 1.2 16v which is a very nice drive.
thought id put a hi here..:)
It sounds like a tyre could be going out of shape or the wheel is damaged
You can tell this by jacking for example, the n/s/f wheel of the ground and looking at the way the tyre is worn
have you tried taking the battery and battery box out, I aint to clear on the location of the cables on them but my 1st instinct would be 2 strip it down from there!
The quickest option is to take it to a main dealer, who'll have the correct diagnostic equipment.
It could just be a code fault in the ECU that can be cleared, if not it would have to be a new TDC sensor.
It could be one of the tensioner pullies that is nackered but the garage should of checked this before fitting the new alt belt.
Thats the next step I would take
