Yeah i think i perhaps get better performance but tbh its a price i would rather not pay. With the extra i am paying in fuel i could insure and buy a 1.6!!!

Mine used to have trouble starting. One night tried for about 10mins! that little electronic engine fault light came up too and i seemed to lose power as if only one or two cylinders were working. Weird.

I have recently fitted an induction kit so that should have solved that shouldn't it? Or do you mean other pipes not just the airfilter pipes? Thanks for all your help guys. Even if i can just save a couple of mpg it will save me alot of money

Where did you find it from? Also what radio was it? a tuner list? is it from a 1.2?

I know it sounds bloody silly doesn't it! When I drive exceptionally sensibly e.g. sticking behind lorries at 56 mph on motorway and not taking it over 3000 rpm I get 33. When I rag it, e.g. change at 5550 rpm I get 16mpg!!!!! I may as well connect my tank up to the local shell garage and...

I have this same problem. Renault say the radio doesn't match the chassis number. I have been told only way to sort it is to send the radio off to be recoded. Been quoted 15 quid (and I pay postage both way). Anyone know where I can get it done cheaper? Cheers dudes
