Yeah i think i perhaps get better performance but tbh its a price i would rather not pay.
With the extra i am paying in fuel i could insure and buy a 1.6!!!
Mine used to have trouble starting. One night tried for about 10mins! that little electronic engine fault light came up too and i seemed to lose power as if only one or two cylinders were working.
Weird.
I have recently fitted an induction kit so that should have solved that shouldn't it?
Or do you mean other pipes not just the airfilter pipes?

When I drive exceptionally sensibly e.g. sticking behind lorries at 56 mph on motorway and not taking it over 3000 rpm I get 33.
When I rag it, e.g. change at 5550 rpm I get 16mpg!!!!!
I may as well connect my tank up to the local shell garage and...
I have this same problem. Renault say the radio doesn't match the chassis number.
I have been told only way to sort it is to send the radio off to be recoded.
Been quoted 15 quid (and I pay postage both way).
Anyone know where I can get it done cheaper?

I have just done some calcs and at the moment i do about 2k miles a month. If I keep the car for 6 more months (as I plan) getting 27 instead of 45 will cost well over 500 quid...
