Hi Guys
Got an 04 1.2 Clio
Has the engine light on and the fault code is P0638 which equates to the throttle body
I have replaced both the throttle body and throttle pedal, i still have the same problem
The code reader cannot erase the fault and disconnecting the battery doesnt convice it...
After years of welding, sorcing panels etc the cars finally painted
Colour is L11 Pastel Green
Now:
Loosely building it up as it needs to be wet sanded and mopped... still couldnt resist sticking the dynamat in though
MOT-day soon, after i get back from holiday...
All the little problems are sorted, just need a new battery, hopefully the mot center goes easy on the stone chip within the drivers vision
Update:
Still owes me less than £700
Coilovers!
Got a second hand set of vmaxx coilovers for her, looking a lot better... Will go down quite a lot more but this is a sensible MOT height
Also found one of the wheels was slightly buckled so that went off to be straightened for a mere £25
Boot is full of tools hence the...
Cheers guys
The wheels are painted in Gloss black but its kinda inbetween satin and gloss because i havent bothered to wet sand them etc...
Had a play around today... still has no suspension but thought i'd see what it could look like whist tackling the exhaust
Cheers guys
Got the wheels painted up:
As usual on the cheap, paint and papers came to £10...
Also sold the stock exhaust for £35 bringing the total so far to a measly £427
Got my wheels... Theyre 16's and made in Japan, dont think the centre caps are the ones for the wheels but i'll use them none the less.
I'll paint them up one night this week, Black or a funky colour...?
Cost me £78 inc postage, Also sold my old wheels this morning for £150 so thats...
Exhaust does sound pretty good actually :)
Fly - They are standard facelift lights with the inserts painted metallic grey, theres a guide for the jap lights on this forum. i basically used bulb holders from a scrapped civic, one went in where the fog bulb is and on the other side i just drilled...
Cheers guys
Well spotted with the plates... They are slightly off centre :/ still doesnt bother me too much, i'll just put a suitable sticker on them
Btw theyre deffo 12x6
Day 6
Exhaust is on but needs a bit of tweaking... knocking against the underside etc so pics when completed
Anywho exhaust owes me £75
Goodies from the States - Front and rear PU lips
Plus, please notice the pre-face lift bonnet described as a facelift bonnet by Tegiwa imports... Only got...
Day 5...
As the original grill was in pieces i bought an EK9 grill instead, painted with the same areosols as before
Coming together now, also got new plates front and rear
Total spend: £347
Considering a sorted one of these of the same year will set you back 1200-1500 squid, my max spend will be about £800
Plus the car will pay me back in the form of the 17's that are on it and the huge sub and amp that was in the back ;)
You'll see
Well i need an EK facelift 99-00 bonnet, one i bought was listed wrongly :/
Need to find some suitable wheels 15 or 16's, have ordered some tastey parts from the states but i'm still on the look out for some coilovers and a jap can :P
Yes a fourth car and second project for me... Basically i'm really not looking forward to driving a 525i or my bug in the snow soo... With a tiny budget i found this
2000 Civic EK hatch 1.4 (yes i know...)
Wasnt expecting much from this, but it was local and for £300 i couldnt complain...
