Patience is bitter, but it’s fruit is sweet.
(It’s definitely going ahead, we’re all booked up with Anglesey. There’s just a couple of admin bits our side to finalise before the website is made available. Roll on July!)
That’s pretty cool to be fair!
My friend got me a yellow enamel Renault dealer/garage sign (which I’m embarrassed to say still is in the box in the garage waiting to be hung up).
Don’t know about that one specifically but having watched a load of videos of Autoshine Cars on YouTube cleaning up old shitters the amount of crap they blow out the carpets (even after a good vacuum) is amazing.
Good question, I assume insurance cos come in to the fold for the big stuff.
however, Reuters to the rescue - his parents put up their house (doesn't cover full amount):

I assume he’ll get a bail bondsman to put up the bond (for which they’ll charge a fee).
I’m guessing this will be the case as I assume he doesn’t have the cash squirrelled away!
I’m gutted Dave - every time I had a spare 5 mins to watch some track action you were coming off track in the v6!
Hopefully next time I’ll get to see you take it around track!!
Thanks again for your kind donations to the raffle and great atmosphere you and the TR guys bring.
Looked great in person @Brigsy, but I’d expect nothing less from you.
Let me know if you want the thread title updated (which I don’t think you can do not being the OP) 👍
Holy thread bump - just wanted to say thanks @steve99ben, I bought this a couple weeks ago so I could repurpose the cheapie Screwdix outdoor one onto another car, and this fits the 182 like a glove as you say!
I love Harry’s Testarossa even more knowing he took it through the Sahara - definitely not a car that’s been tucked up in a heated garage and not enjoyed!
Cheers James - will grab whichever fabric protector looks best value.
How is durability on trim in your experience for Perl? It’s water based isn’t it?
I’ve bought some new mats - what would be a good protectant to spray on them prior to fitting? Gyeon, Gtechniq, Carpro etc.
Also I have a lot of black textured trim on the car (Mazda CX5) which I’m currently applying AF Revive to, which being water based just washes off. Is the Solution Finish...
I’ve had my 182 since 2007 when it was about 2.5 years old and had I think 20k on the clock.
It’s now done 70k but hasn’t really been driven for any prolonged period since 2013.
Yours will be a Campus I assume mate (2006 onwards IIRC) - part of the changes of that facelift moved the numberplate into the rear bumper instead of being on the boot lid like earlier versions of the mk2 shape.
A bloody brilliant car owned by a bloody brilliant bloke - always enjoy the updates Mark even if I don’t always comment.
My dad used to have a Fat Willys t-shirt which he’d wear on holidays when I was a kid - exactly what came to mind when I saw the sticker on the sun strip!
