This is from the BMC site, normal measurment is consistent with what my RR guy said today, but results with CDA on, look overoptimistic to say the least, a gain of 9 PS looks way too much.
That hole was there allright, tried to feed the CAF through it, but it wouldn't oblidge. Regrettably, although the previous owner gave me the standard airbox and the twin CAFs that went along with it, he didn't provide me with any dyno measurments and that bend is not that sharp as seen on pic...

Having recently purchased a nice 172 Mk1, I put it to the RR test today, it's got BMC CDA installed as seen in pic, ventilated properly through the front grille. What do the forum pundits think? Shouldn't this damn CDA thing give it something besides a nice roar?
Let me get this straight, the "mk" thing goes to the generic clio line, i.e. mk1 for the 90s clios williams etc , mk2 the 172s, 182s and mk3 the current line?
