Thats actually my plan for the weekend!;) . Im going to try my OE air box with my ITG panel filter in it to see the difference. I just love the sound of the simota at the minute:evil: . lol.
Andy.
You buy them from hear mate, http://www.fastchip.nl/ . You fit them yourself and it is very easy to use once you have read the manual. I don't mind helping you and neither do the guys on here. Henk from Fastchip is always there to help with any questions you have. Just do a search on the forums...
Quite a few questions there. lol. As for mods i only have a Simota Aeroform, a de-cat in the near future should help a little bit. I chose the 98RON map cos that is the only one available for the 182(correct me if im wrong!) and as i run on VPower it suites my car fine. And as for the GroupN im...
After a few initial problems(with myself not the RSTuner. lol) i am extremely pleased with the results on my fairly standard 182. I'm running with the RON98.cal and my car feels so much smoother and more responsive now, and the increased rev limiter is an added bonus :rasp: .
I would just like...
Great:) . Ill drop you a PM. Northwhich is only a few mins away. Ive read through the manual twice now but im still a bit weary. Ill let you know when i get the kit mate.
Thanks, Andy.
Cheers mate. Ive just read through the manual and its a little bit clearer but i think its just the thought of downloading the wrong files or something and fooking up my car:eek: . No doubt ill be dropping you a PM;)
Just ordered one of these kits. Im seriously confused about all these .rst and .cal files though:S . Cant wait to recieve it. I think i may need some help from someone on here though, hopefully someone in the North West! lol
Andy
Funny that you say about a remap, i rang RS Tuning in Leeds the other day to see about booking my car in. Just need to save some pennys now;) . Think ill only be able to tell what its really like when i go the 'Ring' again early next year. :D
The reason for it being bad for performance is that its still an open IK and will effectively suck in hot air, BMC/Maxogen are inclosed. I have a CAF going to it from my lower grill. ;)
Ive had my car for nearly a year now and since then ive been running with an ITG panel filter, but i thought it was time to try something different. After reading sooooo many threads about IK's i decided to go for the Simota Aeroform(thanks RichCup). I know people say they are bad for heat soak...
This is exactly the same as me, after i had the car jacked up everything seemed to be fine but then the noise came back. I've had new anti-roll bar bushes fitted and it has had made no difference at all. Im even thinking of putting my standard springs back on because everything was fine before i...
Cheers, ill try that in a bit. When i took it back to the garage for them to check everything over, they greased everything up and told me the bushes etc were all fine. Think im still gonna change them and hope for the best.
Andy.
No mate i never changed them. Thats why im gonna take it to Renault. All seemed to be fine after the garage greased everything up. Thinking about it i might be better off buying the bushes from Renault and have them fitted somewhere else, might save me a few £'s.
I can't believe it, the noise is back! I reversed off my drive this morning and thought i heard a noise then when i pulled off and straightened the wheels the front nearside spring seemed to "ping". Now the noise is back again. I guess im gonna have to take it to Renault for them to sort out.
I know what you mean about the sticker. Ive got a different one on order so its getting changed as soon as it arrives.:) .
As for my plans for it im not sure. Maybe some new alloys, thinking of turnis. :boring: lol.
Here's a few pics of my Titanium 182ff. Pic's aren't great quality cos i used my N95. It's now lowered on Sportlines and ive sprayed the front diamond. Hope you like.....
Well ive got my car back from the garage and its seems to be fine now:) . They said they just greased everything up again.
However they did say that it might come back so it might be worth while buying some new bushes, so i think ill take a trip to Renault tomorrow and pick some up.
Nice one. Anyone know the part number? Or should i just go into Renault parts and ask for some anti roll bar bushes. Saying that i could well be there all day trying to explain what i want!:S
^^Yeah i would like to know this too. If the garage im taking my car back to doesnt know ill have to take a trip to Renault to order some replacements. One of the above or even both? lol
lol at the maintenance. My car has just clocked 20k miles and has FRSH. Mine seems to be coming from the front near side. The garage that it was lowered at is looking at it tomorrow for me. Ive still got warranty left but i dont really wanna take it to Renault cos its not on standard...
