Do you know if there is anywhere that tells me how loud exhausts would be? I've been searching the internet but I'm soooo confused! I'd like it to be as standard looking as posible (and not much louder) without it being the Renault one.

The exhaust on my 172 cup has gone and I need a new one (the pipe just behind the back box has rusted through). I don't want to put a standard Renault one as I've been told they're made of cheese but don't know where to look for a replacement that's not too loud as I need to use it for work...

Yep Renault. They ended up replacing bits rather than repairing but I made sure that the price didn't go up further.

You must like living dangerously! My cambelt snapped on my 2003 172 cup earlier this year a week before it's second service, it had only done 23000 miles. It was only a few months out of warrenty and given the low mileage Renault contributed 70% towards the repair work. Still cost £750...
