I also use the Goodyear ones from costco, cannot fault them must of done over 6000 miles and they still going strong, make good contact with the screen.

if the amp is defo on, you could always try plugging in an ipod/mp3 player via a headphone jack to phono socket lead (maplin will do em) then see if you get sub comning out, then you at least know thats all good. then work your way back from there

No like I said I am old! was just too droney for my wife on her motorway journey to work, I didn't believe her, then I had to drive to heathrow a few nights in a row from kent, drove me mad, the stealth ninja is standard quiet which is what I now realised I wanted all along. :)

Damn I am old I found my original btb to be far to loud/droney. they kindly made me a stealth ninja which is dead quiet though so I was well pleased with the service from them.
