I've been checking ebay but can't find anything. If nothing comes up over the nxt few days i'll have to go the scrappy... Ive looked online and i can find the front ones for sale but not the rear bumper trim :S Cheers for your help, hopefully something will pop up on ebay soon :)

Hiya, quick question and one thats prob been asked many times before... I've damaged a rear bumper on a facelift clio, and i've found one the identical colour (white) in the local scrapyard but its S-reg, pre-facelift. Will it fit? Any help appreciated Cheers

hmm I see what you mean. Possibly buying a FF and then adding a few engine mods so that it'll match a cup would be a good idea. That way you get the best of both worlds.

Ahh right, Im not too fussed on abs but I wouldnt mind having cruise control and I like the seats of the ff's too. Is there a real noticable difference in speed/power between the two? because I noticed someone above mentioned that there are only micro gains made by the cup.

you hit the nail on the head there mate. Thats exactly what i was thinking, if ive got an extra grand to play with I could sort out the suspension and gain a bit more power anyway.

The only thing I'm unsure of is whether to go for a 172ff or for a 172cup? Ive looked at the difference in prices and for a similar year and similar mileage, I'd be looking at paying about a grand more for the cup. Im just curious to whether the cup is that much better to make me want to pay...

I noticed on parkers I think the top speeds were down as being identical, but the cup was about 0.2 quicker to 60mph. But after that they seem quite evenly matched.
