I didnt change mine about 6k ago when i had my cambelt done but chatting to Mick it sound s as thou is now decided to go, not a problem for me as im doing the work but a pain in the ass never the less. I would change it while doing the cambelt.

Well i checked the play at the back of the cam and there is no more than 1mm of play, is that enough or acceptiable? and i wouldnt say it was with ease, i had to apply some pressure to move it? Could this be enough to cause the noise? the engine has done 130k?
