    clio mk3 speakers

You will need a sub as your door speakers are designed to run in the Clio door, adding aftermarket components to the front and coaxial in the rear will sound better in mid and treble, but the bass will then become thin and watery You’d be far better leaving stock speakers in, adding some sound...

    Digital Torque Adapter

If it’s accurate it should be good! Don’t drop or bang it though... I’d think they are fairly sensitive to that sort of thing ?

    Rear axle

Yes should be ok, but make sure you get the handbrake cables from the disc one as they won’t have springs on and be different lengths to a drum cable ?? I’d go all the way and get a 197/200 axle for a bigger anti roll bar being honest ?

Subframe to chassis link rod... thing...

To the original poster, drilling and tapping it once the old part is out would work, heat is your friend for loosening the leftover bit of bolt if you want to try drilling to say 4mm and hammering a spline drive or torx in which I have done before like an easy out type affair...

    Clio 182 with 225 engine/box/ecu

Just an aside we used to run one of Colin McCraes old reccy cars in group N and pro-drive basically binned the watercooling from the turbo as it would cook the engines so it just ran oil cooling and an oil cooler to help cool the turbo

    Higher amp alternator?

Possibly a bigger case, there’s a 210a alt that fits various renaults that we used to modify for higher voltages and with higher currents as a result, I clamped one at 250a roughly in an Audi with an external regulator set at 14.7v ??

That’s me ? just bought a Clio RS200 cup with the intention of doing a few track days and wearing some tyres out ?? In the meantime if I can help with a few audio and alternator related questions I will, and engine stuff but I am the first to add I’m a better auto electrician than a spanner...

What's a 'clock wheel' (air bag content)

To answer your question a little more accurately, it’s effectively a metre or more long ribbon cable that is wound around and allows the steering wheel to turn both ways by winding up and unwinding as the wheel turns, it has one or more tracks in it for stuff like horn, air bags, cruise etc It...

    Higher amp alternator?

You can fit anything to any engine given enough time, is yours a cup with a lower mounted one or a high mounted one that ticks under the slam panel Power caps to whoever said it above don’t really achieve anything in sound systems, far better fitting an extra battery even if it’s small like an...

All 197/200’s on the forum. Get in here!

I’ve just bought a RS200 cup :) bit of an electrical specialist when it comes to cars so I’m planning on adding cruise and seeing if I can not change the steering wheel and add some dash mounted buttons or similar, hopefully I can solder itto the comm unit behind the steering wheel and tag a...
