I've decided to list what's left over of my ill fated 182 on eBay. All those interested please read the listings, as there are certain parts (the heavy bits) that will need collecting from Oxford before Thursday 31st May as I'm moving house - hence the rediculous starting prices and no reserve...
Hi,
Does anyone know if a Tunepoint or equivalent interface (connects 2, etc) is compatable with the OE Tuner List head unit when the car has the factory fitted sat Nav?
Cheers!
Hi Guys,
I've listed my 'other' car on eBay, please see the link below:

Cheers,

I started a thread a couple of months ago regarding an issue with my car. It would struggle to start, and would idle very roughly and ran hugely rich - preventing the car from being driveable in any way and would only rev at all under full throttle.
Having not registered any fault codes, I...
Hi,
It's been a while, so I thought I'd take advantage of the decent weather and get out and have another look at the Clio. It hasn't moved or started for a couple of months and I was getting a little bored of seeing it sat there.
As you can imagine, the battery was dead so having hooked it up...
Hi,
If some of you have seen some of my previous threads you may know that I'm having nightmare fault finding problems with my 182 and cannot get it running.
It's probably about thime that I got hold of some proper diagnostic software as the car can't be moved anywhere.
I've seen the Renault...
Another update:
I've fetched the fuel rail off and gave the engine a few cranks. All of the injectors were firing and seemingly firing evenly. I still thought I'd order a set anyway just so it can be ruled out, so I ordered a tested and guaranteed used set from Cliospares. All four injectors...
You might be right afterall!
The new cat arrived this morning. Unfortunately nothing has changed, and the burining smell reappeared within a couple of minutes of starting the car.
I'll fetch the fuel rail off and test it as soon as there's someone here to help me.
Should one (or more) or the...
No, the injectors would be next on the list.
With the cat glowing as brightly as it was (considering i'd taken the car about a mile at this point) it's safe to assume that there's a blockage there. Hopefully the new one will be here tomorrow - I'll post up with my findings.
Out of interest...
Quick update:
I had ordered two new lambda sensors from Northwest Performance (their service was frankly terrible, to the point where I think I'll start a thread to warn others, anyway...) and they arrived this morning.
Once fitted, the car seemed to run a little better - although nowhere...
I switched the lambda sensors over this afternoon and the car ran much better - I've now got two new ones on order.
Thanks for all of your help guys - I'll be sure to post up the result for future reference!
I've had a very similar problem recently, but without any warning lights present - I've started a thread about it this week....
Anyway, I've changed the plugs/leads/coil pack to no avail. I did however switch the lambda sensors over this afternoon, which resulted in much better running and I've...
Would an injector or lambda fault not trigger a warning light? Also, do you think that this would cause an intermittent fault rather than a permanent one?
Hi Guys,
It's been a while since I've posted, but I'm back in a Clio and back into having 'issues' so here we go:
My car developed a heavy misfire one morning. It was seemingly running on three cylinders and cutting out when coming to a stop. No warning lights were displayed, and limped it...
If its covered 170k in 4 years, then its likely to be all motorway mileage which causes very little stress or wear on the engine anyway.
Buy it, its dirt cheap and you will have a great time. Dont worry about engine transplants or breaking the car, if its been serviced properly (its a company...
The AX never really had the cult following of the 205gti or the R5gtt etc, and its very hard to value such an old car.
With having such low mileage, it would be difficult to find another that is similar so it would only really be worth whatever someone would be willing to pay.
To be honest...
Thanks. Hopefully it should sell quickly at that price. I'd be sorry to see it go, and if it doesn't sell I'll sell my Saab instead - although that would be a disaster!
:D
