I have an issue with the traction control. I don't care about the traction control itself but the light being on is an mot failure. It also brings the ABS light on sometimes too.
Anyway anyone have a clue what to do with the following faults?
I've replaced the steering angle sensor and I...
You won't be able to run standard 172/182 wheels with the PMS kit wiyh no spacers. You also need a longer socket too especially for the rears.
But I'm veey pleased with my PMS kit.
Isn't a bit of trial and error or even common sense the way to go for your average trackday goer?
I just picked my pressures cos it sounded good in my head. The car felt good to me so I'll go with that again. It's a shame I turned them blue but I dare say that was down to the 30 min session at...
I rate them, the grip is good and they don't roll over like normal road tyres do. On PE2s you could barely read the brand after a day at Mallory. The AD08s (apart from the blue tint on the edge) look good.
Not like it really matters but almost unusable in snow.
I've got the PMS stud kit and very pleased indeed. I could do no more than 15mins with standard bolts before they were loose. I did 30 mins at Oulton and not a problem at all, every stud keep it's torque.
As title really. When coming towards a corner and braking it didn't like going into 3rd.
I wasn't heel and towing so learning/practicing that might help but anyone got any suggestions?
The clutch feels good and its had new gearbox oil.
Cheers
Good news although these look like they will last a long time for me.
I just wanted to show my experience. People constantly ask for comparisons. This is mine and with pics.
This is what my ds2500 looked like after 100(ish) track miles and about 2000 easy road miles. Track miles were at Donnington at zero ambient temp. No more than 15mins at a time.
This is what pagid blue look like after 150 track miles and about 500 road miles. Track was Oulton, ambient...
My brakes are awsome. So good infact that I can't even reach their potential on the road as they have the potential to lock at any legal speed. Need to get the AD08S warm to really see what they can do.
Standard calipers but with pagid blues.
I think you're right to worry. The top pic looks like there isn't enough metal to drill the holes. With mine which were a snug fit there was only a few mm to spare on drilling the holes.
Just had a full geo setup and my castor was 2.1 degrees or 2 degrees 10 mins. Not quite sure how it was stated.
Mines a ph2 172 and just fitted new oe wishbones.
I need some good pads. I killed some ferodo ds 2500 in 1 day with ambient temp close to zero.
I've been quoted £249 for a set of Carbotech 8s and I can get Pagid Blue for £184.
What would you choose?
