yea im pretty sure it is, the current engine is reaching the 120k mark, the heads just gone again so a new engine with only 32k on it seems the better option, the new engine comes complete with steering rack, suspension, subframe, gearbox ecu etc all still attatched so it should be easyer to...
hey guys i have a 2000 reg 1.4 8v and im looking to upgrade it to a 16v, ive found a 1.4 16v out of a 2002 reg clio but my only problem is will it fit??
any advice would be great

hey guys heres the story......i have just replaced the head gasket and cam belt on my 1.4 8v (2000 reg) however i keep gettin the oil light coming on and the tappets are making a hell of alot of noise.... so i replaced the head again after my father in law said to check the oil ways and see if...
im just about to put the engine back together but ive noticed my head bolts are 2 different lengths, why is this?and what ones go where? i have the order they need to be tightened up in and the torque+angle settings but i dont know how the headbolts go in? long ones in the back?
its on a 1.4 8v...
hey guys i have had to replace the head gasket on my 2000 clio 1.4 8v so i thought i mite aswell do the cambelt while im there, only problem is that i cant seem to get the water pump pulley off to get the cambelt off......any one got any ideas/tips on how to get this off?

hey guys, as stated abouve, obveously renault main dealer will be first point of call but are there any other places online that do them cheper or better? what does everybody recomend?
