There is so so much i miss about my 16v and so so many happy memories of times spent together, it was the first performance car id ever owned and the first that id modified and made MINE. However i dontt regret selling it cos now i have a new toy which i love very much, just wish i had enough...
I think my time is still the fastest for a 1.8 lump with only basic mods, i ran a 15.3 qtr and had an air filter, zorst and pbv. In standard form i was running 16.1
As for what difference 17s make, from experience id say around 0.3-0.5 second.
I know! let me answer please!
Jellyhead, i take it you didnt race from a standing start then, as you would have been wasted.
I went from a clio16v to my evo and all i can say is what is there to own next? Not sure what could replace it??? Not that i ever will!

How you doing mate?
Are you at trax this sunday??? If you are pop over to the lancer register stand and say hello, and ill show you the new love of my life, same goes for anyone else who knows me.
Got two track sessions in the morning at 10.20 and 11.40 was going to offer you a passenger...
Well i think that the R5 would keep up with the sort of power it has, however, only in a straight line. A standing start or a few nice bends and goodbye, you have to drive the evo to understand the sheer grip and ability it has
Had mine a month now and in all that time i havent found...

r they meant to hit the limiter in 5th
Cars have a rev limiter for safety (so the engine dont blow) this applies in any gear, so to answer your question yes if you drive it to the limiter in 5th.
captain,
if the ap22 is accurate and test conditions were the same or similar, please explain the civics 0-100 of 13.5
before i sell my evo and buy one

I think my screens broke!
Its telling me that according to the ap22 that the civic did a 0-100 of 13.5 well i know my evo does 0-100 in 13.5 so im thinking that you are wrong or you mis-typed????
Am a bit dubious as to a 172 recording a 6.3 0-60 was the car standard? Im starting to agree...
