Dont waste money on cheap coilovers, buy right first or dont bother at all. If i was you i would go for eibachs, its what ive decided to go for after having ktecs.
Think Kam racing is good for eibachs.
Ive got a Yozza on my 182 with cat. It is not overly loud but still loud, ive only had a ktec ultra performance on which was too boomy for daily.
I just love the sound of my yozza!
No suprise really, like you said what next. Had my car parked outside my house and got up for work in the morning and overnight some little ..... Had taken my 2.0 bullets:mad:
Sounds like, Sam at Btm is running the same. Heard nothing but good things about it, just cant get my hands on front dampers!
Down that way soon, i might have to take you up on that offer.
The back of mine is half stripped so reckon i might need to get the spring adjusted.
Wish i could get a ride in, lol
Think it might be as stiff as my 200 cup, but i have no problem with the ride, so if its anything like that id be happy.
Getting fed up of trying to decide what coilovers, even though there arent that many for cup pack, so this looks like its the setup to go...
Depends how low you want to go, would need to spend round 800 and up for a decent set, anything less and youd be better staying with just springs, no point in wasting money. IMO
Would defo avoid the cheaper stuff, not alot of options as has been said, depends how much you want to spend...
All decent sets start at 800, and up from there.
Im in the same situation, but i think im gonna go for either sachs and springs or oe dampers and springs.
Have heard that konis and eibachs are meant to be a pretty good setup...
Dont know how to go bout getting them changed and if there would be any problem?
I will be driving the car on the road but will on track alot in the new year, need to replace my ktec coilovers so am just thinking if its...
Defo looking for a set up thats better for track use than what i have at the moment, obviously there is a big price difference between, AST and or dampers and eibach springs, just wondering whats the best for me, by no means anywhere near being a decent track driver;)
Currently got a 182 cup pack with ktec coilovers, im trying to decide wether to go back to standard dmapers and eibach springs or get H&R?
I done a few track days, but in the new year it will be more a weekend track toy car, i know there is a big price difference but not sure whats best option...
Well aware of the search function...
I would probably just keep it standard, but at the moment i have ktec coilovers, fitting a front strut barce isnt gonna improve it..
Looking to go back to OE Dampers or Sachs, and springs with poly bushes.
Want it more track orientated but still drivable.
Im looking to change my seats to buckets, not bolted to the floor, would be looking at it on sliders.
Which would be better to go for, Futura bimarco or Recaro pole position?
Currently ive got ktec coilovers on my 182 cup pack, wheh i first got them it was to lower the car for road use.
Done a few track days now n the coilovers are not up to it and need somehting better for track, as is mentioned in most of these threads there isnt alot of options for the clio 182...
I have a 182, i just find it delivers the power better. It is better than the 197, but just find it needs a little more low down grunt to smooth out the power delivery after bout 3k revs, maybe help fuel economy a little too.
Im looking for ways to improve the drivability of my 200 cup, imhappy with it but i just think its lackign a little in the lower rev range and could do with being slightly smoother.
Was looking at possibly, remap, different filter, and perhaps matched inlets...
Any fellow owners had any of...
Ive checked the 2 drain holes and they are clear, renault has had a look, and are telling me that they need to remove the dash, and doors and replace seals?
They are quoting alot of money and cant promise it will be fixed, near £700 for checking it, stripping it out and fixing it, just feel im...
Over the last few months ive had a problem with water on my floor in all the footwells after it rains in my 182, at first was told it could be the drain hole under the scuttle panel, but checked and it wasnt that.
After not being able to find out what the problem is, i booked it into renault...
This has happened twice now, that my car has been sat for a week and when ive come back there has been a puddle in my drivers footwell and under the seat with most of the carpet being damp.
I have no idea how its happening, checked the door seals and no signs of water coming in that way, only...
