I've recently put the interior all back in mine. It was fun having a fully stripped car, but it was equally as awful to drive it. Much better with all the carpets and panels back in.
I've refitted the oem gaiter on my scenic shifter
If I had the spare change atm I'd personally buy a ZeroPointOne shifter tbqh
(Edit: not that I've driven a car with one, just where I'd go. My scenic shifter is doing the job just fine atm)
Which is the point they need staff at the end of the lane turning people away. I think C&M went ticketed for most events even general stuff (I've still never been there)
I think the more organised events have required registering of interest.
I've been taking my kids over on a Sunday, they love it. Costs me money in hotwheels Everytime though.
I bought new pumps from eBay and they came with a new bung (can't find the listing as it was a few years ago). I got a leak, but was a crack in the bottle behind the bung.
No rear wiper. So I fitted a pov spec bottle that only had one pump - weight saving lol
I have the same noise, wasn't there before I switched to GAZ a couple years ago. Previously had Weitec (KW budget brand) and no noise. So it's defo a GAZ issue, I don't drive the car enough to let it bother me, but I know it's there and I know it'll annoy me when I do drive it
I recently put all new spire clips on my bumper/arch liners. Was very satisfying. However I now see why I liked only having a total of five holding things together lol
the fuel breather that was connected the carbon canister, how far back did you cut it?
Need rear interior plastics, bits where the rear seat belt reels sit and the bits above the rear side windows.
maybe the piece of carpet the covers the rear wheel tub too.
In my wisdom I threw it all in a skip, now I want to make it comfortable again I realise I've dropped a clanger lol
I've done a search but seems peoples LEDs have three wires.
I'm using an led panel with 2 wires (red and black) that will be mounted to my rollcage. I want it to work with the doors open/close function of the roof light.
Which wires do I need to connect the new red/black to? Is it the Red and...
You will lose comfort obviously, but for the improvements it's worth it if you can live with it.
I don't think there's any avoiding drilling the turrets if your wanting to go down the solid route. I have the PMS mounts and brace, gets a bit tight to fit the brace but it goes on/in eventually.
My centre piece of heat shield is held in by 4x large head torx bolts. Drilled the back two out in the end and just managed to work with the space I had. Will have to figure out reattaching it another time.
Started tackling this today while I had a free hour before going out. The torx bolts area already being awkward, don't think they've ever been out. This is going to be fun, yey
I hope it comes back. Was somewhere I never got to drive, be there as soon as poss if it did open again.
Also, fair play to you for doing your bit to convince someone to open it again. More than most of us have done/can do about it. Hopefully you're powers of persuasion stay strong!
