I've owned an M285 from mountune and it doesn't light up the front wheels as the power comes in a lot later and they purposefully map them very linear so it doesn't dump a load of boost when you set off, collins performance are very similar. My mate is on X47R with a collins map and that again...
Just had my BMW on there and it sold within 2 weeks. Put it on ebay aswell as couldnt justify the cost of autotrader for the price of the car
Had a few enquiries through pistonheads. Person who bought it said they mainly look on autotrader but on the off chance looked at pistonheads so I was...
I paid £50 to get one welded recently that was on the edge like that.
Are these OEM or aftermarket ones? Mine was a team dynamic and they didn't have any issue with it
I always stick one on there as its free but don't generally get a lot out of it. Normally ebay comes up OK. It is a lot quieter than it was a few years ago.
I always look on there for stuff to buy as whilst some are overpriced there is a lot of enthusiast owned stuff too.
this 100%
having done this recently it’s a pain especially if one person decides there’s something Wrong when there isn’t. Or the courier loses the parcel so you have to wait a month for compensation. Plus parts will hang around a while.
local scrap yard to me comes with a skip lorry to collect shells ive had on the drive so long as the lorry can access it to lift it. Never bothered about money as just want the shell gone.
I was always under the impression day insurance wouldn’t cover mods just a standard car? Unless you have managed to source modified day insurance? I’ll have some of that if so 😆
I also wondered how people are getting around the “collection only” bit for parts on Facebook pages as I’ve had to tell a few people no, thinking it’s OK to swing by and pick something up. But I know there are a lot of other sellers allowing collection still.
Mine has been on 9 months and looks as good as the day it went on. He does vinyl wrapping and tinting for a living so I trust when he says it’s a pain it must be given the amount of different things he does. He did mention it wouldn’t sit right to start with.
Cracking barge. I have the 325i and still love it 9 months down the line.
I put the rear red tint on the lights. Completely changed the rear end for £10 I think it was. I had my tint guy do it and he said it was a pig to do.
out of interest is the black round the windows faded at all or still...
They go for silly money now. I know some are bringing them in from South Africa for cheap, and no rust and then rebuilding them as they have value in. Would love one one day but ford tax!
Picked this up a month or so ago:
MK6 FIesta ST Mountune MR200
This is how they should have been produced from factory, but obviously they were restricted for various reasons. Good value now aswell if one pops up for sale.
The MR200 kit is 1 of 75 and produces 205bhp (150BHP standard)...
Thanks Steve that’s what I was leaning towards but someone said they didn’t do the semi dish in the targa. There is no other wheel that it looks like though. Better get it up for sale.
CS Help please!
Does anyone know anywhere that will be able to tell me what OMP steering wheel I have as a spare? Suspect a shop won’t be interested and looks like I can only contact OMP America
It has the official product code on the back (52584) but google throwing no searches up. It’s a...
They look like team dynamic jet. Don’t think they are the earlier pro race 1 but I don’t think they came in that much multi fitment on the wheel. Is there no marking on the back of the wheels?
I don’t think that’s bad value personally if all the main bits have been done. If you could get it at £4k or a few hundred off then it would be a better buy. Just depends if it needs any money spending but on the face of it would appear not.
SOLD to the first person to put a deposit on it and view it. I have never had so much interest in any of the 20+ cars I’ve sold before.
Wicked cars and glad I’ve owned one but picked a fiesta ST MK6 MR200 which I’ve wanted for a while and one popped up. The inlet is worth over half the cars...
I’ve used cvr (Cosmetic vehicle repairs) for smart repairs on my wife’s car and he also machine polished my wife’s Astra after buying it. Plenty of his work on Instagram and Facebook.
I went to my local one last night as my clio was in the showroom and to be honest I was actually quite impressed with the RS line. All the gadgets and decent driving position.
