See the thread sticking up and rubbing the cable near the left of the photo. I`d cut that off otherwise it will eventually rub through and cause a direct short.
The Yellow Caterham lost it on the exit of the Gooseneck. Went left across the grass, nose first into the armco on the left on the hill down to Mansfield. I did exactly the same a few years ago, but with much less damage..
Time for that cage soon... ;)
Can`t you get offset polybushes for the `lolipops` ? We have them on Matts, give a healthy Caster increase.
Don`t know if you missed my post, how was the Arduino @ Anglesey ?
Whoa, I like the logger !
I never knew there were GPS options for the Arduino. I`d strongly look into an external GPS aerial if I were you, I realy like the look of that. Do you need to have the programming skills you already have, or is there a lot of help online ? Having built a Megasquirt...
Its my sons. Golf is mine ;)
In a nutshell, not trying to take this too far off topic, he`s 17. Insurance quotes for a road car are around £4,000, unless he goes for a classic beetle (£1,700) or Classic mini (pre 1980, £2400). He decided to save that money until he NEEDS a car for commuting and...

bad luck with the car. :(
Couldn`t you have made a temporary `solid mount` with a length of threaded bar and 4 nuts ? :S
I suppose these teething problems are to be expected. Never saw you out on track. I came across the other 2 E36`s, I`m not sure if you were together ? Some of their driving...
What a brilliant idea ;)
RC6`s are fantastic pads, I`m not surprised you like them.
If I ever sell my Golf, this is most likely exactly the sort of project I`ll be undertaking, so I`ll be following this with great interest.
See you on Saturday at Blyton
A few more. It was difficult for her to get many great pics here, the viewing points are a long way from the track, which is why the official photos have much better backdrops.
I won`t be able to upload anymore for a while, I`m away for a bit now, going to some road in Germany... ;)
Blue PH1 means nothing to me :D
I`ll have a look for a Blue Clio with Black wheels tonight.
Steve, the new shape MX5 ? Yeah, I`ve got some of that too.
That sunbeam is an immaculate build.
Heres some incar from my last session of the day. Rear wheel bearing stopped play, but it was a great session. Short appearance by Weeman at 3.33, Following 3wheels3 at 14:50 and then Lizard at 18:35.
The Black Evo DOES indicate for me to pass @ 16:46 ;)
This session also has my quickest lap...
Yes mate, thats me :) Good to chat yesterday. I`m hoping someone has some incar behind me with the Golf tri-podding
The `aero` got a few sarcastic comments in the morning around the paddock
Jon, I forgot what i`d registered as, anyway name now changed.
What a cracking day yesterday !
Once all the red flags were out of the way, I had some great lapping. Was following the Clio who split a coolant hose at Coppice, that made for an interesting moment ! He had sorted it over lunchtime though.
The Clio with the orange wheels was smoking badly...
