Morning all, Well, the 182 got vandalised on my birthday (nice that :up:). Insurance have written it off. Both wing mirrors have been ripped off, roof caved in and it needs a lot of glass. I have the option to buy it back from the scrappy once it clears insurance. Spent a tidy sum on it...

Unless they are timed up properly you won't get much out of them. You don't get much out of them even with "top secret" timing. More pull right up at the top end and a lovely induction note. Given the option again i'd save a bit of cash first and go for 421's.

Car is now running. Did a bit of reading on here and fiddled about with the CTS and TDC plugs. Got it home and i'm 90% sure it's the CTS. TDC sensor looks like it's been fairly recently changed (blue connector type).

Just been out for a blast in the car. Parked up for about 1/2 an hour while I did a bit of shopping. Came back to the car and it would turn over but not start. Tried it about 3 or 4 times and nothing. Bit more detail - not sure how much is relevant. Dry day today so hasn't taken in water...

Intercooler idea is silly. Nothing to pull air through it. This type of set up works well on saxo's and pugs.
