Painted calipers yesterday, finally got round to it, putting them off for ages!
Oh and also got me one of these:
Progress has been slow, but its getting there. Need to get my lowering springs for now. Anyone had any problems with -40mil on standard shocks?
I would keep the aftermarket wheels mate. They look pretty class and make you stand out from the crowd.
+ Standard renault wheels won't turn heads unless its anyone on this forum.
Edit: Standard wheels are very heavy too!
I started the two rear strips, got them done good, and then with the ammount of time that had take, I just couldn't be bothered, so I took them to a garage.
Might put the standard rear lights on again. And tint spray them possibly. Sport badge is temporary until i get the holes filled in.
Will be lowered, but I aint changing the wheels, I mean I know its loads of your opinions about the wheels, but why would I ever take off £700 itialian belini's...
Yeah that was before it was laquered. heres some more pics:
I'm quite pleased with the result. Think it looks quite stealth, lowered and tints is next to be done!
The sport badge has already been mocked in my first thread. End of the day, i took clio off. Found there was two holes and cant be bothered gettin them filled in. So I bought the badge to cover teh two holes. At least its better than Turbo or GTI
Are they too big for the inlet? And by the way, im not on the pre -04 1.2, mines the one where the entire airbox lifts off and you do have access to the inlet itself, not the one you need the daft connector.
springs and shocks, not coilovers.
Yeah opinions are welcome. Though a lot of the english guys always like a more standard approach, so you almost always know what will be said. whereas us from Norn Iron, seem to like to stand out a bit more.
Hi, got a clio dynamique 1.2 16v new in 2006, pre reg dec 05. It sometimes does something a little wierd, the water temp is usually 4 out of 8 bars. but sometimes even after its been drivin for ages and warmed up, it drops down to 2 bars.
Faulty Thermostat?
look at the second image, its different from the rear quater and front, plastic matches rear and front lol. thought it was replaced, maybe just crap renault painting :)
