I have exactly the same problem in my 172 cup, i actually totally broke it yesterday trying to pull it forward. I have given up and posted a thread in the 'wanted' section for a new 172 cup driver seat, although it is a good excuse to get some recaros!!!

This has been a debate between me and my old man for several weeks now. I recently purchased a 172 cup and my old man has an 2005 EP3 Civic type R, he claims his type r would wipe the floor with my clio, however i beg to differ. Both cars are standard. Just wanted to know what other peoples...

Just to say hello as i am new to the site and have just purchased a 172 cup, don't get it until wednesday, can't wait. Previously only had Honda's, so finally made the jump to something else!
