I'll keep an eye out for you anyway mate! Might use your services if you're any good at detailing if this Focus is going, someone went mad with a buffer on it before I got it!
Seriously mate go for it! I'll come join you on that one, as I swapped my 182 for the Focus I was paying not a lot more than that, however think I'm going back to a Clio soon-ish.
Bolton's a hard place to get fast cars insured, even up in Horwich and we're one of the lower category area's! I'm 23 and can just about insure a Focus ST.
I love the wheels but gotta agree with a few others, just flame red doesn't work with bright green wheels, if the car was black or silver it would be quite cool.
Nobody goes above 70 and if you do it's only once..........you just never come back under that.
My mates track car has the third gear crunch, if you're slow with the change and blip the throttle on a downshift it won't crunch.
I'm 23 and I've just sold my 54 plate 182, she's been gone 2 months and miss is so much it's untrue! I love this ST I've got but it's nowhere near as much fun but it's a better car for day to day.
All those bits of footage off the RS advert that is on at the moment is a few years old, if you look at the drivers in the video it's Lucas Di Grassi in the 133 I think, then it's definitely Nelson Piquet Jr in the 200. Funny as they've got the old ING sponsorship on the helmets who went after...
My personal view on all this is that if you're buying a performance car then buy it because you like it/love it, not for it's MPG. I agree it's beneficial to have both but buy it because you like the car. I've swapped my 182 for a Focus ST, the fuel bill isn't great (21.8MPG at the minute) but I...
I've just put some NGK one's in mine and it's running better than ever at the moment, my car with a milltek with decat and k&n apollo put out 176 on the dyno, was pretty pleased with that!
I only know two young lads that have them round here and that's me and my brother we're 23 and 21, we tend to pussy foot around in them 99% of the time. There are a handful knocking about round here but they're normally driven by people 30+, there's an Iceberg 172 round here driven by a bloke...
