Yeah heard that it could cost a lot if it’s not the bulb. Read on another forum that to change the ballast the front and side bumper has to be removed along with disconnecting a few things in the engine bay!

Cheers. Thought it might not be the bulb itself. Are there any common faults other then the ballast?

My girlfriend has a phase 2 172 and apparently one of the xenon headlight has gone. What is the ‘K’ rating and fitting type for this model? And also how much should a standard replacement cost? I don’t want her getting fleeced by her local garage. Cheers Rich
