Optimax is only about 2% stronger than unleaded! So only expect your fuel consumption to rise 2%!!! i.e. 30mpg ---> 30.6 mpg!!!!
Plus when using it ive found that my foot feels a bit heavier than usual!!!!
So dont expect any results as noticeable as that!!(.6)...

I had that problem and know of others with it..... Definately a manufacture fault - weld breaks inside centre section - and cause that nasty rattle. so they are definatly lieing if the said the have never heard it before...

Mine were apparently 50% front & 80% rears gone... Im just as confused as you...
However - Take a look at them yourself though the wheel & dont change them until u can see very little material left...
I told them to leave them alone - and i just done 3100 miles & still going strong...

calm down lads - its 6.1 secs for the v6 and 7 for the 172...
But this is still pretty damn good... and exlains how ive managed to keep up with the likes of tvrs and 911s (nonturbo) from a rolling start - u of course need to catch them in the wrong gear... (i.e 3rd instead of 2nd) - still...
