Renault dealer 60p each plus the blood , snap em off and you have to drill out the bottom of the clip , use a very small drill peice , I used a dremel , then all you do is Araldite the new ones in . Easy peasy Lionel Squeezy .

Tom , yes do both of them , they are simple to do so do them yourself and count the turns off and then mirror it when replacing the new one , do this both sides and make sure that the amount of turns / thread showing is roughly even , tighten everthing up and shoot to somewhere that you know...

Use Hammerite smooth , I've done loads on all sorts of cars and have never had a problem , just make sure you prepare the surface properly and get rid of all the rust and get it as smooth as you can , give it plenty of coats and you can acheive a powder coated finish . here's a pic of my Lexus...
