I haven't watched it all yet, but from the bit I did see it's going to implement it in many areas like on the desktop, in applications including games. So let's say you get the new fallout, because it's MS owned it would have the ads regardless if you played on Steam or anywhere else.

Unfortunately Linux isnt going to save you from this one.

More surveillance and more ads :(

I saw this advertised on FB a while ago, the guy was trying to do a deal with me for my Civic.

I thought that's where you were going. @cs_rich says, you can take steps to protect yourself. Using VPNs, privacy based browsers. You could setup a piehole, build your own router, go through any privacy settings and permissions on your device. Use an email provider like Proton and move away...

Gaps between top mounts is normal.

You can, just depends how far you want to go with it all.

It's also crazy that some TV manufacturers lose money on selling the TV, but make huge profits on the data and that's partly why TVs are so cheap. The TV isn't the product anymore, we are.

@Flat Eric You can still go through all the TV settings and turn it all off and ideally disconnect from the internet. They can record external devices connected to the TV and send the data back. From my understanding of the video, when you opt out they do one final snapshot and send the data...

They have made it convenient to use the in built apps for a reason. I know It all sounds like tin foil conspiracies, but if you watch the video I posted, you can see how crazy it really is.

Well it's up to the individual, the more we just accept things the more they will push their luck. If you buy a TV these days, don't connect it to the internet.

Doesnt mean we should just roll over and accept it.

Don't buy LG or Samsung unless you want to be spied on.

Because we basically live in a zoo, we need a good vacuum. We currently have a Shark, but it doesn't really seem to pickup all the pet hair and the bin is small. Any recommendations? For reference our current one is upright, corded and 800w.

Some interesting extra info

The GPU is around 30% faster but still fairly limited on the CPU front so might see 10% on there so it just depends which area GTA6 is going to be limited by the most, probably CPU.

Looks awesome, can't wait!

Metal Gear Solid 4 is finally coming to other platforms today in the Master Collection Vol 2.

New pads, I hope they do the trick. Still waiting for my lines to be sorted.

Lovely looking PH2 V6 coming past me on the way through Ampthill, not sure if it's anyone on here?
