The car isn't fully sharp because it's turning in relation to you (during the exposure). So it won't ever be sharp unless you use a boring fast shutter speed. There's probably not a lot you could have done better for that photo to be fair.
You'd have to post up some others for more C+C :)
Yep. That was my trusted WA lens. Cracking lens, the VR is really good too.
I recently sold it as I rarely used it, but that's mainly as I'm less active in photography these days. It's either that or the 14-24mm imho.
Have to agree with that, it's a shame I've lost that 'buzz' though. Rarely have any motivation anymore.
I'm actually flying to Taipei in a few hours, I'm taking my camera, but I wouldn't be surprised if I don't use it :(
hmmm.....sounds about normal then.
I'm only 6 months into my contract so i can't play the longtime customer card.
Found out the extra £11 was due to some discount running out, but my current monthly is £76.
Howdy chaps, I've got the day off sorting out bills etc, and the first one I need to sort is Virgin. My latest bill came through at £87 yesterday! Up from £73 due to their price rises (that's almost 20% btw!)
I'm currently getting:
Broadband XL (120mb)
TV XL
Phone M (the most basic as I don't...
Why bother with super fast internet in a handful of places, when 3G coverage in the whole country is patchy?
Make the whole country 3G before dicking about with super fast speeds.
16mm is wide on FF.
That's a bit over 10mm equivalent on cropped sensor, so yeh very wide.
Personally I wouldn't go for the f/2.8, it's super heavy too! LOTS of glass in it!
I'm sure theres comparisons of them online somewhere.
lol, yeh cracking bit of kit. It's not the quickest at f/4, but then you don't really need a fast wide angle lens.
The D600 is full frame iirc, so that's a good fit. I wouldn't really look at anything else.
Or there's the 14-24mm f/2.8. Full pro lens that, and not cheap.
Yeh I had a VXT before the Exige. Always been a fan of small epic handling cars, but sadly I can't fit a bike in an Exige, so I needed something more practical.
I did consider an E39 M5, so if I had that we would have a very similar car history!
Wow small world lol!
Not spoke to him for a while actually. Yeh he spent loads on that STI, constantly buying little bits for it.
Which Exige do you have? I had to sell mine for my house, I do miss it, but it wouldn't get much driving in this weather!!!
There is some proper lol in this thread.
Yes camera phones these days can take some brilliant photos, but they are not comparable to a 'proper' camera.
