my mate has a piperx on his punto sporting (also a 1.2) and its chuffing loud. Turns heads from about 100 yards away! He doesnt seem to think its made a difference to the performance but dam it sounds good.

Will do. Im stint-ish at the moment though as ive just shelled out for the car and insurance (ouch) so it might be next month before i get my power hungry little mitts on the Viper.

Do Pipercross make a Viper kit for the Mk2 172? Ive had a quick look on the Website but no mention of a kit to suit the Mk2. If anyone knows different can they let me have the part number pleeeeeese as I to have heard astonishing tales of 10-15bhp gains and I NEED one. Cheers

Geoff - thanks for the info mate, much appreciated. Looks like Ill have to content myself with Alloys, a spot of lowering and ICE for the moment then until suitable engine mods become available. Gives me time to save up for something special I suppose. Cheers. R0ach
