I have a first generation CLIO CUP 172 (2002)
The climate control (no aircon) works and temperature also works okay.
The fan works in all four modes,
My issue is in the higher modes 3&4 a vibration sound becomes audible.
Does anyone know how I can see a diagram for this model.
I have access...
Over the years has anyone found one manufacturer better than any other for rear discs?
Due to their low braking adhesion they rust and mine now have gone to the stage they need replacing but at £300 I am wondering whats the best solution?
I have no records of the last set that went on mine.
I have been searching more and found these two for anyone interested

Thanks for the link - I will get on that now
The left line nearest exhaust was damaged and leaking fuel so the drivers side line must be the carbon canister line which RPD say is still in stock.
UPDATE: My local garage has repaired the hose line successfully but I will change anyway once I can find the right part.
The fuel hose line damaged has been discontinued by RUK and RPD have given me the part number (8200 026 260) to try find aftermarket part... ANY HELP?
The other line is in...
Same has happened on my 172cup - I will have to call around tomorrow as I will get a garage to replace fuel line than try myself. I am hoping EPOXY will hold the split leaking
Mine is the 172cup sept2002 registered first batch 500 if that helps?
I've been recommended to try epoxy as a temporary fix to get it to a garage so off to halfords...
Does anyone know which of the two lines send or returns fuel as you are underneath looking towards the engine?
I've discovered a cut/leak on the drivers side line.
Any tips on a temporary repair to get it to a garage? I was thinking of cable ties and industrial rubber piping.
Cheers
I never thought about where it would be, my other cars had a coolant flush and water pump changed as a singular job.
I had the belts done last year again
The clio cup 172 is approaching 100,000 miles (1 owner).
I was making a list of items that are original and so some feedback would be appreciated.
My water pump is original as is the coolant bottle - I read this should be proactively changed at 100,000?
Are their any other parts I should have...
I have been into some local bodyshops with my cup because a crack has appeared at the edge of the spoiler. Underneath is a yellow type foam and the so far no one can see how to rebuild it to repsray.
One idea was to wrap the spoiler either in clear vinyl or carbon wrap it. the spoiler would...
Hi everyone
I have read alot of posts on this issue. None quite match my example.
All my lights except both reverse lights work perfectly including rear wiper switch when engaging reverse gear.
I removed the rear light cluster cleaned the contacts, also tested the bulbs, all okay, however...
Nice thread.
My clio cup 172 was delivered new and it has seen me through to now - I have either been the subject of jokes or stated it will never be sold on, it has been a joy to drive and still looks alright - I also had some other cars:
vw polo gt - 1995-2009 (my first car)
honda s2000 -...
Gear Shift linkage for sure.
What is the usual amount of play / movement?
Does the rod have any bushes that I could renew? powerflex don't show any.
Thanks

My 172 cup has been mine its whole life and is now on 93,000 miles.
Its only mod is a ktec silenced exhaust system from the cat back fitted 4/5 years ago.
Yesterday as I was going 50mph on motorway the...
