i was thinking of buying this too... but I wonder if theres more to it then the guy says... if he brought it for 4.2k a few weeks ago, why would he be selling it on at nearly a 2k loss? he cant afford a few hundred quid for a few parts, but can afford to lose 2K...

I think its to do with the speedo output, later cars dont have, first 172's and cups did have them...

Hi, had my MOT today and the car failed on high emmissions.. the carbon monoxide readings where 3.2 when they should have been under 0.3.. anyone got any ideas?? I'm thinking the CAT is no good?? cheers Tony.

yeah agree with Pete, draw it all 1 to 1 in model, then in paperspace set up the different view ports to the required scales...

your text size should always be the same eg. 2.5... then in fit there is a scale fact.. that what you adjust for the different scales of the drawing... eg. 5 for scale 1:5...

need to set up a few dimstyles for the different scales you got on the drawing.. eg 1:10, 1:5 etc

is the speedo the same? thought the R5 was electric?? not sure though..

I've got a set of 172 hubs and brakes sitting in the garage, not got round to seeing if they will fit yet...

I would put the steelie on the front and turinis on the back to drive to get your new tyres..

Think the bearings are uprated... and fifth gear is a different ratio... but you can fit either..

I dropped the complete subframe... gives you abit more room to work under there.. and abit more room to drop the gearbox...

its all part of owning a valver mate...

no matter... it might be fine...

also make sure he fitted a renault one and not a copy... cos otherwise it wont last..

maybe he didn't route it the right...
