I dont know if you remember but I posted a topic on this forum about taking the seats and spare wheel out your car to make it got faster.
Well, I sent the same letter to evo mag and its appeared in this months star letter section and ive won a years free subscription !
JOBSAGOODUN !
If I were you Lou, I would say that you dont want the car repairing and you want it replaced with a new one (if your policy allows it) as its only got 400 miles on it !
Seriously ! If the spare wheel well is bent and the carpet does not lie flat then the car will NEVER be right and if it was...
Mate, the only way they take any notice is if you put the sh*tters up them. Irecently wrote a letter to a garage who were repairing my car and I ended up gettting the work done for next to nothing !
I was going to paste the letter here but its too friggin long...... unless you want to see it.

Some good stuff on there, should give you the info you need.
Find a big empty roundabout, cane your car round it in 2nd (or 3rd if its really big) till you feel like its going to understeer, then lift off the accellerator completely and turn right into the roundabout, the back should lift slightly to help the front end go where it wants and the car...
Be smooth while driving (and I dont mean listen to Barry White while wearing a silk shirt and a medallion :p ) I mean be smooth with the way you steer the car, use the accelerator and position your car on the road, speed and knowledge will come with time.
Cheers for all the kind words and the feedback geezers :)
I think im going to keep it standard.
Though I still need a spare 15 " OZ wheel :( as the one I had is smashed-up-ta-f*ck

Yeah I like the silvervision bulbs too but after changing the indicator bulb on my car the other week, I dont fancy putting my fingers through the same pain again ! :)
Oakley, are you going to the Midlands meet ?
Yeah its f*ckin sick !
A mate of mine (big lad - 6 footer and built like abrick sh*thouse) was mugged by 5 14year old lads in Manchester.
If you say well why didnt he do anything,...... one of em had a gun !
This country is going to sh*t !
Im in Derby SHORTY. I would love to go to some events but im relatively new to all this and I dont know how you go about it  Like you said mate, it would be good to meet other 172 owners.
I took the photos on my favourite road route going up the A6 to Matlock, through the A5015 to...
Yeah it is odyssey blue, I was on my way to buy a silver 172 and I saw three on the way there ! I went back to Autotrader and found the blue one and im well chuffed with it :)
Dont get me wrong, I love the silver but in Derby there are loads and ive still not seen a blue 172 :D
Nice one.
I thought about lowering it but My mate (who has a valver) says I shouldnt because itll rattle it to bits
I think it needs something else though,....maybe a roof spoiler ?
Each to their own and all that but if you wanted black wheels I would have gone for 18s with a split rim polished silver and the centre in black ;)
Other than that, it looks nice mate.
Does anyone know of a website that allows you to choose what wheels you like then super-impose them onto a picture of a clio so you can see what they would look like ?
Im having a nightmare choosing some wheels and I want to see if they look right or not.
Cheers
The difference does not bear thinking about. We were both at the lights and he was looking at my car, I looked over and clocked him. He smiled and revved his engine, so I revved mine and the lights changed.
I tharashed mine in 1st, dropped it into 2nd shot off up the road, I looked in my rear...
