i work for halfords and ive got those 6"9s in at my branch and they are good but i think you really do need to amp them up to get the best out of them the magnets on them are well big in fact the same size as a vibe 10 inch woofer

i would not mount the amp on the under side of the stealth shelve the amp will get really hot cos the heat made by the amp will have no wear to go the heat will just stay around the amp
on the back of the speaker you will find to small metal connectors the bigger 1 of the 2 is the + and the smaller 1 of the 2 is the - you guys should go to your nearest halfords store and have a look at the new max power ice manual theirs some well good tips to sortin out your install
well jonclio you must have the wrong wiper blades on your car cos 99% of wiper blades go with in 1 to 2 inches from the top of the windscreen so their for they make contact with the sunsrip their for it makes them allegal i my self have been stung £30 by the fuzz for this
Good thinkin mate that will help the amp loads but i do think if you had of done somat wrong the amp would have given up on you by now but the fans are a great add on to have mate go with it
well at least you did end up going for a very good sub in the end i like alpine alot and most of my system is made up it but never the less it would be nice to know what your runnin it off
if your gonna wire 6"9s to an awp you can run them in stereo e.g ch 1 - to 6"9 - and + to 6"9 + and the same for the other 6"9 or in series from the + on ch 1 of the amp to the + on the 1st 6"9 from the - of the 1st 6"9 to the + of the 2nd 6"9 from the - of the 2nd 6"9 to the - of ch 2 on the...
car shows are a great place to pick up those sort of bits i got my 1 from maxpower live just gone and you can have a look at it if you go to south end next weekend. oh and it cost me £8
a good place to earth your amp or amps is 1 or 2 of the seat belt fixings points under your back seats and they are well close to the amps 2 birds with 1 stone
simple connect the wire to the speakers turn the music up a tad and feel which way the cone is movin it should push out if it pulls in swap the wires over cos if they do they will b out of phase
no JL is not the best if youve got the cash kicker L7 (12) the best under £300 sub wonga can buy at 750 watts RMS per sub power is the game have a look at www.kicker.com
it all depends on how youve wired the sub to the amp if the amp is running at 2 omhs it will get hotter than what it would if it was running at 4 omhs or maybe earth the amp with the same gauge wire as youve used to power it
