maybe a little more than that, the amout of welding would have been about £500 alone if it came in as a job, thats without all the mechanical, and bdywork, the only thing i didn't do was lay the paint on, only as it wasn't my spray booth
i think it is the camara, i think the pic your talking about is this one, it was taken with the flash and the bottom one wasn't, in the flesh the bottom picture is the colour
i think i wouldn't be happy if it looked like the top colour
got the base coat on with the rim masked
then the laquer withe the tape removed
then fitted the new michelins and i put bead seal on as the rims are a bit corroded on the lips
and i painted the calipers semi gloss black as the yellow looked pants
started on the wheels today, got a few pictures off the phone again, hope it don't bore you!
started by rubbing the wheels down with an orbital sander using 180 grit
then a few coats of primer
once dried went over the lip with 80 grit to get rid of the kerb marks
then 180 grit...
