In reference to one of your disadvantages , oem ecu cannot be used without clocks etc, it is untrue. The standard 20v ecu can be unlocked for a reasonable sum of beer tokens and used with non oem clocks keys etc but then we would not have so much fun trying to blow it up on the oxford ring road...
