I have a tapping noise on my 182 which has dramatically got worse to the point that it died and it now won't run unless tow started.
It turned over cleanly and normally with no noise.
I have tested all the usual things like cam timing, plugs, leads, injectors, coilpack etc before tow starting...
Thanks but still not sure.
Is a 182 with cup pack going to have exactly the same setup as a 182 cup?
Can you visually tell if the wishbones are different?
Is there any negative camber on cup rear beam?
You don't need a clip to turn off airbag lights. I have an Autel 703 code reader that has turned off many clio airbag lights. The crash computer module can be reset by someone like ecudecode in westbury who do mine for £45 they do mail order.
I have an 05 plate 182 which has had a number of electrical faults all of which I have sorted except for this.
I have changed the throttle body and pedal and checked the continuity and earth resistance of all wiring from pedal to ecu and from ecu to throttle body with nothing out of the...
Ironically that was his daily driver, his track car was the Kawazaki green Mk1.
Nick was ok though as said so thats the important thing.
I was there in the passenger seat of a silver phase 1 172 but he deemed it too wet to risk his daily driver on track. (Good call imho)
This was an excellent view.
I am glad I don't race anymore as I would have punted the red and silver clio off the track with his dodgy driving!
Well deserved win.
Where do you live for combe to be your local track?
Always going to be a good buy even if it was just to break as engine and box alone are worth the money.
Nice to find a bargain like this, I am always on the lookout for similar.
I might come along but have sold the 172 so will be in a megane coupe.
I live in Warminster, shop at morrisons and mrs works up the camp in warminster so can't we meet in Warminster instead? lol.
I have done shed loads of trackdays but I have only done one trackday in my part prepped 172 and unfortunately the aux belt came off and made the cam belt jump which mashed all 16 valves.
Do a full nut and bolt check of everything every time to prevent things like this happening, mine was a...
Get the hole rethreaded using either a thread insert or a timesert. Any decent garage should be able to sort you out.
Just recutting the thread in an alloy spacer will end up with no strength to the thread which will end up with 3 wheels on your wagon if you are not carefull.
Well I spoke with him last night and it has receipts for all the work (which is not a lot really) and a rolling road graph for 228bhp which he convinently can't find!
He is genuinely convinced (probably by the last owner who did all the mods) that it is this power. :dapprove:
I used to get loads of problems with orange so swapped to T mobile when I lived in North London and never had signal trouble.
Now I have moved to Wiltshire its a different story though.
As said already, Baldurs Gate 2 is an awesome game but looks its age now.
Playing Fallout 3 at the moment and totally addicted. Not really an adventure game though as its shoot 'um up/RPG.
Can't think of anything I have played lately that is along the same lines as the games you have listed but...
