I had my car mapped at RS tuning and it was mapped for v-power and that's all I've ever used since what would happen with if I used another high octane petrol? Or a lower one?

Track rod ends look fine, adjusted the tracking the other day. Ball joints are ok as well. The car seems to pull all over the road, kind of feels like the steering sticks in the direction you turn it instead of coming back to centre.

When doing 3 point turns or on full lock at slow speeds my car makes a knocking noise, it also judders. I was thinking cv joint problems but they seem ok, is this the dreaded top mount knocking? do I need new mounts or just the washers that people have used.

has somebody maybe had the steering wheel off at one point and put it back on out of line? if it goes in a straight line but the steering wheel is squint that would be my guess.

Just thought I should up date this incase anyone else has the same problem, a full tank of petrol has sorted the problem.

Haha good observation, just a mistake I meant 6k Would be 10 months old so maybe that's to do with it. I was using Fuchs 5w40, now using gulf competition 5w40.

Haha yeah but just weird as the oil that came out was the same grade but different brand and only 3k mile old. Much happier with the car now :)

Well my Clio has been feeling a bit sluggish lately and seemed to have a flat spot from 3.5k-5k. Weirdly it felt like I lost my remap which smoothed out the power from 3k-5k. So anyway I changed my oil after 6k miles since it's last change (anal I know) but the flat spot is gone an it seems too...
