I would go for the 225 as theyre just for Track and as i know from my last Car how Anneau is to the Tyres the more wide version can suck up more heat. So go for the wider ones i would say. (If the Price is OK, seen prices in CH about 30 CHF more for the 225s over the 215s )
But yeah, thats why...
You can get them in correct size! Or you switch to an equivalent... wait a sec...

Next Size would be 235/40/17 or 225/40/17 as you would get the Speedo wrong with the 45ers. The Sizes are also avalable in Switzerland (dont know where...
But all nothing to do with the Online one...

Just dug this out again... Well youre right, with the Spring thing and so.
About the fast road driving: dont be bothered. Im not one of those public road racers ;) Even on Roads usually unused here im slowing down before corners which you cant look through and so on. On Track thrashing is no...
As Brian says, no problem, but think about the money... need different 3rd Brakelight aswell and prpbly other stuff too (dont think its included in the tailgate when ordered) Also you have to let swap your Window and so on, costy, but possible it is.
Yeah, the Tailgate of the GT Spoiler one has a different Part Number, so no chance to fit one. But you may find someone who is willing to change his GT't Tailgate (I would if tinted rear, Cup Spoiler fitted and Albi Blue) but well... ill never find someone for that sadly...
Short things short...
