Somebody likes their Saabs. Looked like another couple hiding behind the bush too but they were covered over.

All have a similar profile and appearance, but definitely wasn’t any of these. I do feel slightly better that no one else seems know either though. I’ve come to the conclusion that: A) maybe I’d had more beers than I thought B) my eyesight may need testing C) it wasn’t a “real” car and was...

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

I thought the same and googled as many as I could think of but nothing came up that looked close enough to maybe be the right thing. Definitely not this one. It was a little more angular with the rear corners being slightly higher and the back, and two extra lights on each corner. It was a...

I saw something on the M5 yesterday that I’ve never seen before and have literally no idea what it was. It’s been doing my head in searching through google images for any classic car that resembles it. At first I thought it was a DB5 from the front and side profile, but the rear looked...

Ah fair enough. I know he goes that way from time to time but probably not in the DeLorean. There can’t be many of them around though, especially in this area.

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

Whilst out on my bike the other day I rode past a random showroom with a selection of Fords on display. I couldn’t be bothered to turn round and go back for a pic so this is from street view instead. From memory I think there was a sapphire, an RS500, an XR2 and an XR3. Next time I go that way...

Unfortunately I didn’t manage to get a photo, but I saw a very tasty looking Renault Alpine A310 driving about 2 mins from my house yesterday. Genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen one in the flesh before, wasn’t even sure what it was until I saw the rear end. Looked just like this:

You may be right buddy, I’m only going by what I was told so no idea. I know I’ve never seen one on the road though that’s for sure and I’ve seen some very rare and unusual spots over the years! If it was mine I’d definitely but a big engine and a back to the future styled body kit on...

Only as a passenger for about 15 mins but yes, it seemed terribly sluggish. It also droned badly and appeared to pull all over the road regardless of steering input. Still, first time I’ve seen it as it’s been kept in a lockup for years not running and has only just surfaced. Literally every...

Terrible picture, but I followed this in rush hour the other evening. Unfortunately there was no chance to hear it stretch it’s legs, but it still burbled nicely just pottering along. Looked spotless from what I could see. Did a quick plate check and is indeed a genuine P1. Been a while since...

I’ve done a couple of supercar days in the past, but only on wide airfields and not for any great length of time. Today however I was lucky enough to borrow this. The NOISE! Some kind of sports exhaust fitted and in race mode it was an absolute hoot (shame about the company stickers though)...

Audi TT 3.2 - I'm now doing discounted cut n blows

Might be worth checking that’s definitely the issue before you spend money on it. I had the same lights on intermittently on mine and was reading as something else on my code reader. Turned out to be the brake pedal switch. Cost me about a tenner and a cut finger to sort it out.

    New family wagon - BMW F31 328

Steering wheel’s on the wrong side...I’m out. Seriously though, looks lovely mate. I love Estoril Blue, good choice.

Audi TT 3.2 - I'm now doing discounted cut n blows

Yeah I remember now, sorry I didn’t put 2+2 together! I was skim reading! Timing wasn’t quite right as I needed the money freeing up but someone got a good deal on it [emoji3525] The only tyres I purchased during my ownership were Faulken and I thought they were brilliant for the price so put...

Audi TT 3.2 - I'm now doing discounted cut n blows

I sold mine spring last year. Did around 25k in it in 18 months or so, sold it at just over 100k. Cost me less than a hundred quid in repairs, just consumables and (lots of) fuel. Averaged 26 mpg over that period, assuming the trip computer was accurate. I actually miss it a little bit. It was...

I agree about the stripe. Good to see it being used though, looks as though it’s been on a good run recently judging by the fly kill at the front (can’t see in the pics) and the general crap in the cabin! Goodwood sticker on the windscreen too

    My Lupo GTI

I love Lupo GTI’s, such cool little cars. I had a red Lupo Sport when I was 18 and at the time it seemed like rocket compared to the 65bhp Fiat Punto I’d had as my first car! Yours looks smart although being honest I’m not sure about the BBS’s. I think I’m just showing my age though as I’m...

Audi TT 3.2 - I'm now doing discounted cut n blows

Looks smart, how are you finding it? When I did my “Tee” mod I used a small dowel so I could effectively use it as a join to plug it back in the other side. Worked perfectly until I decided to change it back as it droned too much on the motorway.

    PlastiDip UK?

Big thread revival! So I was doing some gardening on the weekend and came across a few unopened cans of plastidip knocking about in the shed which I'd forgotten about. The missus has been toying with the idea of changing some parts on her MCS to gloss black so I thought I'd give this a go...

    Frozen White MP165 Fiesta ST

I really like these, never been in one though. How do they feel in comparison to say an R56 cooper S? I've been looking at those too although I've had a bit more love for my TT since I've finally got it running properly again!
