thanks jambo, but that exhaust is something else!
P.s. Auntie amy loved spending time with her nephew (charlie boy...
Just curios to know if a set of F1 centre caps will fit a set of Mag oz f1 wheels. Sounds abit obvious as the wheels are basically the same but magnesium. Will just normal centre caps fit straight?
thanks rich
jamie i wouldnt worry bout getin stopped my front regplate is well to small i havnt been stoped yet it doesnt look that dodgy, where the screw is fitted it does but just say the mechanic did it!
looks sweet tho ;)
It could be your camber of the wheels, my wheels were the same, tyres wearing on the inside and not the outside. Could be negative camber, a quick realinment should sort this but as its basically new im not sure if its even this m8.
thanks for all the comments guys, i didnt even think about blending it in with the wings, i just thought i would remove the bonnet and respray but obvs not!
Jonny 1*2 u r right CF sounds like a plan but bet its not cheap!
i just thought that £300 would be right as most paint jobs are cheap. i asked a mate of the forum if he could do it as he has all the gear and said it would be too expensive, some people just talk s**t i guess!
£80 - £90 sounds good thanks for the comments
Hi all!
Purchased my 172 of my best mate back in january this year. Love the car! Apart from the huge stone chips on the front bonnet. On my previous clio i colour coded the bumpers and bullets in silver and wasnt that hard to do.
My question is, would it be hard to almost refurb my...
Jambo ur car is mint! If only i hadthe coin i would have one. Piers your right epic car but running costs, insurance, it is a V6 after all. But i think its worth every penny if you can aford it.
Lovely car jam ;)
your best bet mate is to pay for renault to do it, even though the price is high its worth it. my previous renault clio needed a cambelt change and i took it to an idependent dealer half the price! thought all was well until i noticed the belts were slipping and making funny noises! alot of...
Again as above ^ looking, listening and waiting for something to go wrong! Hate that ! Just come to terms, have fun, and only fix it when its broken!
hi, i currently have a set of Magnesium cup-racer OZ F1 wheels on my clio 172 and could do with a refurb, is it best to try and do a DIY job or try and find somone who will touch the damn things as no one will?
cheers Nixxy
PSJ i think your theory and motivation around this project is great and i truely believe it can be done, but just look at everything before you comit as plans never work out how u want them. Take when i purchased your old 172 a few things went wrong that had to be replaced and looked at, i just...
Thanks guys for the comments, i was curios just to see if there was anything that could be done to reduce noise. No plans of changing the exhaust as its a good system.
Hutchie il take up your offer lol :approve: !
Hi ALL!
Curios to find out if anyone can help with my problem. Currently own a 172 CS which i bought with a full system exhaust from K-tec. The noise is great on clio runs and the odd short drive but any long distances and its a killer the noise is unberable! Any one know of any soloutions...
loved the run lads, even though it was a short blast! Nashy love the car looks better in the flesh than i thought, rapid too. Piers loving the wheels best buy i think for the LY! carnt wait till the BIG meet.
