Little update, the parts have arrived. It's going over to my mates workshop on Monday for fitting so will update again then.

I'm going to get a pair on order now as I can always send them back if they are no cop... I'll report back on what happens!

Right then, my 182 has been making some rather concerning noises on lock which i've weedled down to being the CV joints being cream crackered. I see that the problem is that Renault will not sell the CV joints seperateley and i've been quoted over £200 each for shafts from Renault. I see Euro...

Thanks folks. V5 has finally arrived so will get some fresh plates sorted for it. Then when we go on our hols in August it's off to the bodyshop for the rear bumper to be repainted. Should be a little minter after that!

So, thanks to the buying guides and info on here, we finally sorted a 182 for the other half... It's an 04 with both cup packs, FRSH (with the all important cambelt change), 60K miles, 12 months ticket. Very good overall, just needs a few odds and ends doing cosmetically which meant we got...

Well we got one! it's a FF with 60K on the clock on an 04 plate. FRSH including the all important belt change last year. Needs a few cosmetic odds and ends like a wheel refurb and a couple of scuffs but with a bodyshop in the family that's not a problem. Looks like it's been mechanically well...

Love it. Mines the 325i saloon and I love that, thinking about upgrading it to a 330 cab at some point soon.

Thanks mate. They look like great examples. 40-60K OTC is fine as she only does around 6K miles a year. Looking to spend as close to £5K as possible but could stretch it a bit.

Thanks mate, will sort out a build thread on the Pug. Looking at a 182 with the Cup pack (still learning the differences from the guide on here) in silver or black preferably but condition is the most important factor. Just missed out on a nice low mileage black one on an 04 plate.
