Every single damn time I need to go somewhere that's more than a couple of hours away the b*****d 172 throws a wobbly.
Today I went to get my wheels rebalanced as I had a little steering wheel shake at ~70mph and on the way home it started cutting out (sometimes) when pulling up at a junction...
Cheers folks, I'll probably just go for infinity then, not worried about throttling, got a VPN for that. The general consensus seems to say that it's quick. Sold.
Has anyone got this package? Just moved into a rented house and looking to get some fast net connection on the go.
Just got a fancy freesat box too that does iPlayer etc. so I'm really after a properly unlimited service that's fast. No cable in the area so virgin is out.
Also, I have similar...
I guess, but it's one of those new builds that has secure video phone entry, 2nd floor and a couple of doors to get through. They should really find out about the property first.
Saner - No reason given, was just a price quoted from compare the market
EvilGiraffe - Yeah think I'll try a specialist next
Would there be anything wrong in declaring it parked on the road, but keeping it in the compound and just accepting if I stuff it while driving in or out that's it's my...
When I was living in Edinburgh I was paying about £575 for a 172, 27 yo, 3 yeas NCB, parked on the road with Admiral.
Moved down to Bedford, it goes up to £900, (had 3 points added this time, 40 in a 30, doh)
I'm going to be moving to Milton Keynes soon so did some quotes on compare the market...
I've noticed over the last couple of months (about 2000 miles ago) the water level has gone down from about the max line to just above (~1-2cm) the min level line. It was topped up when it was (12k) serviced.
I ran it on idle for about 10 mins this morning then moved it to another parking bay...
All three are definitely linked, the auto up/down windows stops working whenever the dials die. As soon as the dials come back the windows work correctly. So does anyone know of an interconnect block that all three of these systems share?
Evening all, so it's pissing it down this evening and the clio develops 3 faults
1. Rev counter drops to zero intermittently everything runs fun just the dial is playing up.
2. Temp gauge drops to zero intermittently.
3. The auto up/down on the drivers window has stopped working. Window still...
Good shout on getting another one sorted, but I agree people are seeing this too late (like me) I'm busy on the 9th.
Scotty-boi you might want to try this http://whenisgood.net/ it's pretty handy for organising things
Don't worry, I'll be at the back of the pack too, had some issues with limp home mode when I moved down a couple of weeks ago, so I'm going easy at the mo, I think it might be water ingress somewhere as it appeared to do it after a metric-sh!t-ton of rain.
Iceberg 172 here (YR02 OUG), just moved down last week. I've seen a couple of others out and about, I don't know the areas yet so can't say where I saw them!
I'll be giving Dan a call at some point in the next couple of weeks after I've been paid to have a ganders at a list of things!
