172 only has a pre-cat doesn't it? Fairly sure 172 = pre-cat only and the 182 has pre and post. Not sure what the wiring you have found is if that's the case.

It's not just the website though it's all the other car club fees etc..all add up. I'm also saying that there's not much on the 16v here anymore so that's why I/we don't get on this site much but still not a newb and have contributed in the past with help for others. The car is the missus's but...

Flicked the lights on last night and the dash lights did not illuminate. Headlights worked fine, but the dash lights didn't come on. Tried switch on & off, clicked full beam on then off and the dash lights worked. Stayed on through full journey. Started car up later on, same thing but...

It makes cleaning and polishing the roof a piece of pee at that height :)

Where is it wet? Take out the rear lights (one knob on the back on the lights ot undo) to check the seals are ok on there. Could also be leaking inside the boot lid underneath dripping down the plastic boot-end. This area is prone to rot and could easily be where it's leaking in from.

I guarantee 100% that it isn't 60mm. I did it myself using the old how 2 that was/still is on here. Springs are 25/30mm drop on the front.

Really?? Here's a 30mm drop on the rear torsion bar and 25/30mm lowering springs on the front with 15's fitted. Looks fairly low to me...and comparable to your blue car.
