Ive had exceptionally bad luck with my clio 182- owned it a month now and so far its had a new exhaust, belt and tensioner change (both together av cost over a grand!!), Now needs Dephaser doing, Coil spring doing and the xenon washer is leaking into the fog light! Should I just get rid...

My 182 is in the garage as we speak having a full service and all belts and kits changed.... However my mechanic has just told me the dephaser pulley has play but he hasnt got the tool to change it?, Is this not the same tool thats needed to do the belt kits?
