Brilliant read. Wondering why you didn’t do it on your driveway though (?gravel).
For the CV boot a universal (glue) one will do the trick

I have an FN2 civic (coming from 3.5 years of volvos was a shock) although the clios in standard form are comfier for a hot hatch so you are probably ok. Although personal preference [emoji846]

Mine averaged 30 mpg combined which was very close to the book figure. 1*2 tend to hover around 34 mpg in my experience. I wouldn’t say that’s terrible at all.

I thought that too until recently they had a castrol oil offer on (4L £17.50) got the promotion price plus a little bit extra off for trade (£16.33 each)
Got the 150 socket set and like others can fault it, dont need a receipt to change anything broken either - just take the old one in store...
I don't know you, but this is madness. If this was in a professional business environment you wouldn't have survived this long managing a project in this way - and this is YOUR OWN MONEY!!
You need to get a grip on it, agree what is going to be delivered and by when, with both parties in...
I have also used my eBay special one and really rate it, paid for itself the first time I used it on my mates FN2 with a seized cat nut - spun it off no problem after I had rounded it and tried cutting it with a dremel. Used it on sunday to take calipers off too with ease - next job crank bolt...
I have just ordered the second one - should be here in the next day or so. Think I may jack the car up and take when wheels off just to try it :tongueout:.
My socket set is 1/2" so naturally went for that - will be doing a cambelt soon (not clio) so will need the extra grunt of 1/2"
I recently cancelled sky TV and rolled back to freeview.
Kept broadband and line rental and currently paying £27.50 pm for that. Don't miss the TV, mine was due to increase to something similar.
looks an awesome LY and the attention to detail is brilliant.
Whats the plan for it? IMHO it looks a little confused with the 200 wheels / diffuser - much preferred it beforehand.
Hi ,
Been looking into getting a 2nd fun/weekend car in addition to my regular main car (neither of them are Renault so i wont name the make / model ) ... BUT INSURANCE is v.EXPENSIVE!
I have 11 years NCB on the main policy and a couple of insurers have mentioned mirroring this to the...
yeah, currently paying the cancellation game after the package is due to go to £91 from £51, they told me there best deal which was £70 and i also noticed a £10 admin fee. They seemed to roll over with the cancellation too
Had eibachs on my 172 - decent. Had cooksports on my 182 - v.harsh , wouldnt recommend (despite the forum rating them, i didnt) . Both setups with brand new OE shocks.
They do and whilst the categories are matched pretty accurately , some can be hit and miss.
I have used the excel approach for years, get a CSV export and dump it into excel , can itemise items line by line. On the RHS I have all the mandatory outgoings , when they go out of the account colour...
When I did mine, I needed compressed air , get a piece of wood to place in the centre of the caliper to protect from any flying pistons. Can get new seal kits off eBay for not much, will need the correct grease too (castrol stuff if I remember).

I've had both (182/197) the standard ride in the 197 is harsher than the 182 however it makes up for it with the better out of the box handling IMHO.
A 50 mile commute is substantial, I would be looking for something else TBH (Volvo D5/ BMW 330 etc)
I ended up unblocking my scuttle panel a couple of times in my ownership , it's a known issue so yeah I would check that first. It's likely to be swimming with trapped water under there.
